Shilo Sanders is an American football safety known for his physical playing style, football IQ, and strong presence both on and off the field. Born on February 9, 2000, he is the son of Pro Football Hall of Famer and head coach Deion Sanders, and the older brother of quarterback Shedeur Sanders.
Shilo began his collegiate career at University of South Carolina before transferring to Jackson State University, where he played under his father. At Jackson State, he became known for his hard-hitting ability and leadership in the secondary. He later transferred with the program to University of Colorado Boulder, continuing to develop as a defensive playmaker for the Colorado Buffaloes.
On the field, Shilo is recognized for his aggressive tackling, instinctive reads, and ability to create turnovers. Off the field, he has built a growing personal brand, leaning into content creation, NIL opportunities, and digital engagement — positioning himself as both an athlete and modern creator.
